News: On July 17, 2019, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine approved significant changes to the Massachusetts regulations governing physician licensing and medical practice. The changes became effective on August 9, 2019. Among other things, the revised regulations contain new requirements for obtaining and documenting a patient’s informed consent to medical care and treatment.
